About Palo Alto Interventional
Minimally invasive care, clearly explained.
Palo Alto Interventional is an interventional radiology practice. We diagnose and treat disease through a pinhole, guided by imaging, and we put as much care into explaining as into treating.

CT angiogramWhat we believe
Understanding first
You should understand what is happening in your body before anyone treats it. We use your own images, illustrations and videos to explain.
Honest options
We explain every reasonable choice, including surgery, medicines and watching, with the trade-offs of each.
The smallest effective treatment
A pinhole instead of an incision whenever that works as well, so you recover faster.
One connected team
We work with your primary doctor, surgeon, oncologist, urologist or nephrologist, and keep them informed.
Eight specialties
One practice, organized the way patients search: by the problem, not by the technique.

Fabio Komlos, MD
“I would rather spend ten minutes showing you your own images than ten seconds telling you not to worry.”
Dr. Fabio Komlos is an interventional radiologist: a doctor who treats disease from the inside, through a pinhole, guided by X-ray, ultrasound and CT. He reviews your scans himself, walks you through them, and performs your procedure.
